Commitment
Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 3, 2026
The Patient Access Line is committed to making our content available to all patients and caregivers, including people with disabilities. We strive to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
What we do
- Use semantic HTML, descriptive headings, and clear page structure.
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images and icons.
- Design for sufficient color contrast and readable typography.
- Support keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators.
- Build forms with associated labels and clear error messages.
- Offer downloadable resources in accessible PDF format when possible.
- Test with screen readers and modern assistive technologies.
Known limitations
Some older downloadable PDFs and embedded third-party content may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We are actively working to remediate these items and replace legacy files with accessible versions.
